After Skippy's doxing and put down of a home in Niagara... Let's look at housing prices over a longer period of time. It turns out that over the last 8 years, under Trudeau, house prices have gone up at about the same rate as in the USA, 70% to 80%. During the previous 9 years, under Harper the house prices in Canada went up about 70% while they only went up about 17% in the USA. It seems that the real house price problems in Canada happened during Harper's time. In 2006 a Canadian house cost 43% more than a US house. In 2015 that cost was 115% more than in the US.
