Well, it happened:
Canadian rail operations grind to a halt. As of late last night, workers from Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Kansas City will be locked out of their workplaces after their union failed to reach agreements with the rail companies by the 12:00 a.m. eastern deadline. The standoff will disrupt the $1 billion worth of goods transported by trains each day. (Global News)
Not sure how long this will go on for, here's hoping that it's short and comes to a mutually agreed on resolution.
