UAWIL #75: Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets Live at Royal Albert Hall

Pink Floyd helped create progressive rock music in the 1960s and started out playing clubs in London with elaborate light shows. In the 1970s they became one of the biggest bands in the world with platinum records and record breaking tours. Nick Mason, the only member of Pink Floyd to never leave the group, has convened with some friends to revisit the pre-Dark Side of the Moon catalog and breathe new life into these often forgotten classics. With the help of long-time Pink Floyd collaborator Guy Pratt on bass & vocals, his Rockonteurs partner Gary Kemp on guitar & vocals, Lee Harris (guitar) & Dom Beken (keyboards they provide an extraordinary show.The Wolf scored a last minute seat to see them at the renowned Royal Albert Hall in London....in the front row!! I basically sat on the stage and marveled at these extraordinary musicians take on this incredibly special collection of songs from the 60s and early 70s.
