Tin Nguyen was the lead of the street crew for the Black Dragons, an LA based organized gang, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in 1997.
While incarcerated, Tin turned his life around and earned a bachelor’s degree. Through his transformation and changes in the law, Tin earned his release and is now an MBA student with the goal of earning a PhD.
He is also an immigration advocate for Viet Rise and a certified dog trainer.
