Carolyn writes about Vietnamese American identity, diasporic witches of the west coast, and tall-tales of what her mother would tell her in a humorous way.
Her nonfiction work has appeared in diaCRITICS, the International Examiner and others. Carolyn's debut novel, THE FORTUNES OF JADED WOMEN, is out now from Atria Books/Simon & Schuster.
She studied journalism at Seattle University for her B.A., Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington for her M.S.
You can find Carolyn somewhere along the west coast, cuddling her dog, either in Los Angeles or Seattle, depending on the season. Or sometimes in Saigon, having iced coffee on a rooftop.
