Join us in conversation with Eric Nong, the Artistic Director of Viet Film Fest, as he takes us behind the scenes of this year’s film lineup. We explore the festival’s events, film premieres, and notable guests while discussing the incredible growth of Vietnamese filmmaking.
Born and raised in Orange County, CA, Eric is a classic film buff who has been passionately curating movie write-ups since 2012. His journey with Viet Film Fest began in 2018 as a volunteer and writer, and by 2019, he was a part of the Curatorial Committee. In addition to his love for cinema, Eric holds a BA in Political Science and an MPP with a focus on education and poverty alleviation, both from UC Irvine.
Don't miss this episode, as we celebrate the art of filmmaking and dive into the transformative power of Vietnamese cinema.

Many of you still have the chance to record and preserve the legacies of your own families. I’ve sat with families now for interview sessions to record the rich histories of parents and explore the lives of the generations that preceded them. Don’t let your family stories go untold! Take a moment to reach out and together we will bring out your family’s story on a recorded journey. - Kenneth Nguyen
