Football food is often hearty and flavorful, making it a challenge to pair with wine. However, there are a few key principles to follow to create successful pairings we will discuss:

Consider the acidity of the wine.
Think about the complementary flavors of the food and wine. For example, the sweetness of Riesling can balance the heat of buffalo sauce, while the smoky notes of Tempranillo can complement the flavors of grilled meats.
