Truth be told, I listen to a lot of podcast. So these are shows that are definite recommends. They are the cream of the pumpkin crop. For a lot of us, Spooky Season is not just one month out of the year. We do this year round. So in no particular order, here are some of my favorite horror film and horror adjacent podcast.
These guys never disappoint with their round table deep dives into horror of all genres.
Kimmi and Jon host one of the funniest horror podcasts out there covering all corners of the genre.
Mike Muncer goes deep into the corners of Horror sub-genres. A must listen for the completion obsessed.
Zena, Megan and Jon leave no stone unturned exploring new frontiers of horror on the rise.
Kat and Jazz provide a unique and often times hysterically entertaining spin on the genre.
A veritable Wu-Tang Clan collective of friends who explore some of the little known gems of many different genres. Funny and well produced.
Joe and Trace have some incredibly interesting conversations about Horror films from an LGBTQ+ perspective.
You can learn a lot from this show. Don’t be intimidated though, it’s a fan friendly affair for the even the Horror novice.
Frank discussions about real life horror as well as cinematic exploration from an LGBT perspective. Often times turning very funny.
Joe and Sean dig the trash bin to find the genre’s bottom. Funny, informative and down to earth. A hearty recommend.
