00:00:01.002 --> 00:00:06.153
I'm excited to welcome you back.

00:00:06.153 --> 00:00:10.784
If you are new, we've been doing this for five seasons, over 150 episodes.

00:00:10.784 --> 00:00:14.573
Some of them were so long ago I had to take them down off the podcast.

00:00:14.573 --> 00:00:20.373
But we are here and we are back, and we're doing this on multiple platforms, so welcome.

00:00:20.373 --> 00:00:24.547
I am really excited to welcome you all.

00:00:24.547 --> 00:00:27.292
Welcome to our Sugar Tribe.

00:00:27.292 --> 00:00:38.631
It is a place where we connect and learn and grow together as beauty professionals, when we're all either passionate about body sugaring or you're really excited to learn about it, no matter where you are.

00:00:40.201 --> 00:00:50.310
I have interviewed the best of the best in this industry on this show and even outside of this industry to bring you different ideas to help boost your skincare business.

00:00:50.310 --> 00:00:59.801
Now, this little episode is a little more personal and raw than usual, starting out especially, but I promise it will leave you inspired.

00:00:59.801 --> 00:01:11.975
Today, I'm sharing how sugar didn't just save my life once, but twice, and how it's given me the strength and the tools to rebuild and thrive and help others do the same.

00:01:11.975 --> 00:01:15.168
Then we're going to do a little different something here.

00:01:15.168 --> 00:01:21.093
We're going to switch over to how I start the year strong and how I challenge you to do the same.

00:01:21.093 --> 00:01:25.275
So grab your favorite drink or get your dog out on that walk.

00:01:25.275 --> 00:01:32.921
I highly recommend you re-listen if you're somewhere where you can't take notes, but then settle in and let's get to something sweet.

00:01:32.921 --> 00:01:47.516
Okay, so let's start with how Sugar Saved my Life, which sounds like a pretty dramatic title, but really, truly, it's the truth.

00:01:47.516 --> 00:01:52.831
So this will be the quick Cliff Notes version for those of you that are new to the show.

00:01:52.831 --> 00:01:57.632
If you want to hear the full episodes, I will link those in the show notes for you.

00:01:58.540 --> 00:02:01.831
But let me take you back to 2009.

00:02:01.831 --> 00:02:04.242
I had just gone through a divorce.

00:02:04.242 --> 00:02:04.763
2009.

00:02:04.763 --> 00:02:05.504
I had just gone through a divorce.

00:02:05.504 --> 00:02:23.927
I sold my beloved day spa in Lake Tahoe and I moved to a new city as a single mom with two little boys, and starting over was not easy, and there were nights that I stared at the ceiling wondering if I'd have to go back to my corporate job just to make ends meet.

00:02:23.927 --> 00:02:36.706
But here's the thing when life gets hard, sometimes opportunity like that little ball of lemon, sugar and water shows up in unexpected places, and for me, that opportunity was sugaring.

00:02:36.706 --> 00:02:48.161
I was terrible at first for those of you who have known me for a really long time, it's no joke but I stuck with it and I practiced and improved long time.

00:02:48.161 --> 00:02:56.165
It's no joke, but I stuck with it and I practiced and improved and slowly, my students and my clients started to take notice and, one by one, my clients started to ditch their wax appointments and fall in love with sugaring.

00:02:56.165 --> 00:03:06.076
And it transformed my business and before I knew it, I was fully booked and thriving, and I am proud to say that that was 15 years ago.

00:03:06.076 --> 00:03:18.044
And now those little boys are off to college and I am in my sugar salon with staff and it's going really, really well, all because of lemon, sugar and water.

00:03:18.044 --> 00:03:18.466
That's it.

00:03:18.466 --> 00:03:22.143
And now sugar water and pre and post biotics but that's for another episode.

00:03:23.044 --> 00:03:26.110
So sugaring didn't just save my business.

00:03:26.110 --> 00:03:27.274
It became.

00:03:27.274 --> 00:03:29.867
It gave me a strong tool in my tool belt.

00:03:29.867 --> 00:03:38.849
It really gave me purpose, which I never expected, and a way to connect with my clients that I never expected either.

00:03:38.849 --> 00:03:43.224
And that's when I realized that this wasn't just about hair removal.

00:03:43.224 --> 00:03:53.764
It was about creating a community for them because the people in my local community all love to talk about sugar mamas but a community for other estheticians to learn and grow.

00:03:53.764 --> 00:04:01.802
And in 2014, which is 11 years ago now, is when I started Love to Sugar.

00:04:01.802 --> 00:04:09.604
So, all again, from just wanting to set myself apart and learning sugaring was the way that I was able to do that.

00:04:09.604 --> 00:04:11.266
So thank you sugar.

00:04:13.110 --> 00:04:19.591
Now the second sugar save was fast forward to 2000, about 22.

00:04:19.591 --> 00:04:25.144
This was a little bit after COVID and life threw me another curve ball that I never saw coming.

00:04:25.144 --> 00:04:27.521
So I can't believe.

00:04:27.521 --> 00:04:34.526
Like I said, this is our 11th year and I've been pouring my heart and soul into love to sugar, teaching sugaring, building the sugar tribe community.

00:04:34.526 --> 00:04:59.651
But behind the scenes, my personal life took a major setback and without diving into details out of respect for my kids, I'll just say this my life as I knew it completely changed and there were moments when the heartbreak, just it just felt insurmountable and honestly I wondered if I'd ever feel whole again.

00:04:59.651 --> 00:05:10.687
But once again I am so thankful that I have sugaring on the menu because it came to my rescue and because I had built a strong business with sugar.

00:05:10.687 --> 00:05:14.494
That is what really kept that foundation alive.

00:05:14.494 --> 00:05:43.069
And because I had built a strong, sustainable business with sugaring as that foundation, I could actually step back when I needed to heal my heart, because my team was ready, my systems were in place and the skills that I've honed over the years reminded me that, no matter where life takes me, I always have the tools to rebuild, because I've been really been planning and keeping everything with systems this entire last few years.

00:05:43.069 --> 00:05:58.221
So sugaring not only gave me the financial security but the freedom to then, because this shop was running thank you to my staff I was able to prioritize healing my heart and healing my family, and I'm really, really proud of that.

00:05:58.281 --> 00:06:07.134
So now that we've reflected on how sugaring has transformed my life, let's shift gears and talk about you.

00:06:07.134 --> 00:06:16.807
What we're going to be doing on this season of the Sugar Show is we're not just going to share stories of sweet success, which I'm so excited.

00:06:16.807 --> 00:06:35.449
We have guests that are coming onto the show, that are going to be from all different walks of life that have decided to add on sugaring from cosmetologists, beauty school students and, obviously, estheticians why they chose to ditch the wax stick and how they saw sweet success in their sugar journey by adding sugar to their skincare journey.

00:06:35.449 --> 00:06:44.572
So we are going to be doing the sugar show a little bit different, where we'll do half sweet success and then half business ideas.

00:06:44.572 --> 00:06:51.271
And for those of you that have been triggering for a really long time and are looking to really take your business to the next level in this next year.

00:06:51.271 --> 00:06:57.988
This is a great opportunity for you to start really honing in on your business and we have a whole course for that and there's links and all that good stuff.

00:06:57.988 --> 00:07:09.735
But on the podcast we're going to be kind of touching the 30,000 foot view of what you need to be focusing on each month in your business.

00:07:09.735 --> 00:07:13.430
So we're going to do those things sweet success and how to get there by focusing on your business.

00:07:13.430 --> 00:07:20.533
So we're going to give you actionable advice, not just talking at you about business, because that's boring, nobody loves that.

00:07:20.533 --> 00:07:25.754
But we want you to help build your dream sugaring business.

00:07:25.754 --> 00:07:32.853
And if you're an employee listening to this or a student and you don't have your own business yet, that is absolutely fine.

00:07:32.853 --> 00:07:39.543
We have a how to build your sugar business class that's coming out this month, so stay tuned for that.

00:07:39.543 --> 00:07:47.014
But we also can utilize these skills even as an employee, even as someone who's just starting out.

00:07:47.014 --> 00:07:49.848
It's always smart to start this way.

00:07:50.180 --> 00:07:53.911
Now some of us that have been doing this a really long time are like you know, I probably should have a budget.

00:07:53.911 --> 00:08:08.547
I probably should start with some goals you know for the year, and that's fine, even if you've been doing this for 20 years or 14 years or 14 months.

00:08:08.547 --> 00:08:10.797
The idea is to really kind of start fresh in your business and see your business with a fresh pair of eyes.

00:08:10.797 --> 00:08:13.646
Again, students, you're going to look forward to what you want your business to look like.

00:08:13.646 --> 00:08:21.088
Employees, your treatment room is actually like a small business for you and you should treat it as such.

00:08:21.088 --> 00:08:29.156
Just because your boss brings the supplies and takes the taxes out and all that doesn't mean you shouldn't be building that business as if it were your own.

00:08:29.156 --> 00:08:31.884
It's really, really critical for you to understand.

00:08:31.884 --> 00:08:38.363
So if you do not own your own business, that is totally fine, but act as if you do is the message.

00:08:39.043 --> 00:08:50.849
Um, okay, so we are going to start strong with one of the most powerful tools for success, which is setting goals and I know this might sound kind of cheesy like set goals.

00:08:50.849 --> 00:09:06.453
Of course you should, but we want to really kick off the new year with the idea of setting goals to transform your sugaring business and to take the steps that it takes to get there to make this the most successful year yet.

00:09:06.453 --> 00:09:14.402
So grab your notebook, grab your favorite beverage and touch your puppy and sit down at your table, and let's do this.

00:09:14.402 --> 00:09:22.403
So it's time to think big, to dream boldly and to take actionable steps to make this year the most successful yet.

00:09:22.403 --> 00:09:24.626
So, first of all, you've got your notebook out.

00:09:24.626 --> 00:09:30.034
If you do not already have the Sugar Boss Planner, I will have a link to that below in the show notes.

00:09:30.034 --> 00:09:32.684
So open your Sweet Success Planner.

00:09:32.684 --> 00:09:42.173
We're going to go to the goals page or take out a fresh sheet of blank paper, because that will be what we can use here, and we're going to dive into smart goals.

00:09:42.860 --> 00:09:48.307
And you've heard about creating a vision board and mapping out milestones to turn those dreams into reality, right?

00:09:48.307 --> 00:09:50.331
Well, we're going to do that today.

00:09:50.331 --> 00:10:07.663
So I really believe that the key to any successful business is having clear direction, not just talking about it but actually doing it and to take that roadmap and help you navigate the ups and downs that come with running your own business or, just like said, being an employee in someone else's.

00:10:07.663 --> 00:10:15.929
We want to sound, we want to do something that starts so simple, but setting up those goals in actually a very specific and meaningful way.

00:10:15.929 --> 00:10:20.871
So let's break down something that's called smart goals.

00:10:20.871 --> 00:10:34.187
You may have heard of these before, but today I want you to take a step back and apply these concepts directly to your skincare business, to your sugaring practice whatever if you're at a cosmetologist in your salon.

00:10:34.727 --> 00:10:48.899
And SMART stands for Specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and I'm going to slow down for you Relevant and time bound, okay.

00:10:48.899 --> 00:10:52.952
So specific your goal needs to be clear and specific.

00:10:52.952 --> 00:10:56.650
Think about exactly what you want to achieve in your sugaring business this year.

00:10:56.650 --> 00:11:05.640
So, for example, instead of saying you know I want more clients Of course we want more clients you would say I want to attract 20 new clients by the end of March.

00:11:05.640 --> 00:11:11.995
Get specific 20 new clients by the end of March, get specific.

00:11:12.015 --> 00:11:13.582
Next, you want to do goals that are measurable and can be tracked.

00:11:13.582 --> 00:11:15.210
You want to know how far you've come and what progress you've made.

00:11:15.210 --> 00:11:25.019
So, instead of saying I want to be better at marketing, maybe say I want to post three times a week on Instagram and engage with followers daily Okay, maybe that's your goal.

00:11:25.019 --> 00:11:29.552
So, if your goal is 20 new clients by the end of March, that's measurable.

00:11:29.552 --> 00:11:32.578
Three posts each week measurable.

00:11:32.578 --> 00:11:34.462
Write that down, okay.

00:11:34.462 --> 00:11:36.735
And you might not know quite yet how you're going to get there.

00:11:36.735 --> 00:11:37.899
We work on that.

00:11:37.899 --> 00:11:46.173
In our business coaching and the latest one is up every first of the month there's a new coaching concept, and that's links in the bio too.

00:11:46.835 --> 00:11:54.123
Okay, the next one, sma A, is the next one achievable your goals should be a challenge, but also realistic.

00:11:54.123 --> 00:12:05.421
So this is about building your confidence, and if you're currently, for example, seeing 10 clients a week, maybe your goal is to see 15 clients a week by June, say.

00:12:05.421 --> 00:12:13.818
It's something that you can grow into, so that you're seeing 15 clients, which would be about every two hours, which would be about a seven hour day.

00:12:13.818 --> 00:12:18.134
If you just did half an hour blocks, okay, great money in that.

00:12:18.134 --> 00:12:24.816
And the idea, though, is to be, again, measurable and smart and achievable.

00:12:24.816 --> 00:12:27.245
So you don't want to say, oh, I'm 100 clients a day.

00:12:27.245 --> 00:12:30.173
It's not achievable for you to do by yourself.

00:12:30.173 --> 00:12:32.096
Maybe it is if you have a staff.

00:12:32.658 --> 00:12:37.836
Now, relevant is R Make sure your goal is aligned with where you want your business to go.

00:12:37.836 --> 00:12:41.490
So is this helping you achieve your big picture vision?

00:12:41.490 --> 00:12:50.682
If your focus is to build a high-end client experience, for example, if your focus is to build a high, build a high end client experience, for example, setting goals about low budget services might not align.

00:12:50.682 --> 00:13:01.971
So if your goal is to achieve more clients, is it relevant?

00:13:01.971 --> 00:13:02.796
Do you already have like a packed day?

00:13:02.796 --> 00:13:06.673
You might not want to achieve more clients, you want to be smarter with the ones that you have and maybe you want them each to book one extra service, right?

00:13:06.673 --> 00:13:08.770
So measurable, but kind of relevant.

00:13:08.770 --> 00:13:18.562
If you have no clients, then obviously you can count the amount of clients, so being very specific and very relevant to what it is that you're trying to achieve big picture, okay.

00:13:18.982 --> 00:13:20.432
The T is time bound.

00:13:20.432 --> 00:13:22.697
So every goal needs a timeline.

00:13:22.697 --> 00:13:25.192
Or it's just something you're talking about, it's just a wish?

00:13:25.192 --> 00:13:25.813
Okay.

00:13:25.813 --> 00:13:28.203
So put a date on it.

00:13:28.203 --> 00:13:30.971
When will you have those new 20 clients?

00:13:30.971 --> 00:13:34.460
When will you implement those new marketing strategies?

00:13:34.460 --> 00:13:36.163
Hold yourself accountable.

00:13:36.163 --> 00:13:44.113
We can hold you accountable, too, inside of our tribe, but hold yourself accountable so that you know okay, this is the timeline.

00:13:44.113 --> 00:13:51.591
I want to get 20 students per week by March March 1st, march 15th, march 30th when?

00:13:51.591 --> 00:13:55.948
Put that in your calendar and hold yourself accountable and ask for a buddy.

00:13:55.948 --> 00:13:58.634
We're going to talk about that in a moment, okay.

00:13:58.833 --> 00:14:00.876
So I used to think.

00:14:00.876 --> 00:14:15.057
I used to think that vision boards and manifesting were a bunch of woo-woo and that it was all about working hard and working hard towards your success.

00:14:15.057 --> 00:14:27.907
And what I've come to find over the 22 years that I've been doing this is it really is about the bigger picture and visualizing what success looks like for you.

00:14:27.907 --> 00:14:35.264
So this is one of my favorite parts of goal setting, because it's where we let your creativity run wild for you.

00:14:35.264 --> 00:14:40.360
So vision boards I've come to find out that they are not just for fun.

00:14:40.360 --> 00:14:51.553
They're tools that actually help you align your mind with your goals right, and by having something visual you create that daily reminder of what you're working towards.

00:14:51.553 --> 00:14:56.013
So in the beginning of your sugar boss planner, you have a little vision board on there.

00:14:56.013 --> 00:14:58.057
Did you fill it out last year?

00:14:58.057 --> 00:15:01.311
If you're still on our coaching in our coaching club?

00:15:01.311 --> 00:15:04.198
If you didn't, then we're going to be starting this year.

00:15:04.600 --> 00:15:14.243
But really the idea is to take that vision board whether it's digital or manual or you're cutting out magazine pictures and really visualize what it is that success looks like for you.

00:15:14.243 --> 00:15:19.062
So for someone like me, success looks different than for somebody who's just starting out.

00:15:19.062 --> 00:15:21.538
I want my staff to do well.

00:15:21.538 --> 00:15:28.615
I want my staff to reach more people in the community, maybe if this is your first time having a skincare business.

00:15:28.615 --> 00:15:34.524
You want to start by saying, okay, I want to have 10 new clients by this date.

00:15:34.524 --> 00:15:36.453
But what does that look like?

00:15:36.453 --> 00:15:42.315
It looks like I will have a more flexible schedule, I can pick my kids up from school, I can quit my corporate job.

00:15:42.315 --> 00:15:59.383
It has to be what is relevant for you, okay, so take some time to grab a poster board or create a digital one whatever makes your heart happy and find those images and words and quotes that represent where you want your business to be by the end of 2025.

00:15:59.383 --> 00:16:01.229
I can't believe it's the end of 2020.

00:16:01.229 --> 00:16:05.216
It's the beginning of 2025 and we'll be talking about q4 very soon.

00:16:06.720 --> 00:16:09.163
It could be pictures of beautifully shared skin.

00:16:09.163 --> 00:16:11.958
Maybe it's the perfect client experience you're trying to hit.

00:16:11.958 --> 00:16:14.777
Or maybe it's your dream studio space.

00:16:14.777 --> 00:16:15.679
That could be it.

00:16:15.679 --> 00:16:22.863
Put your goals in pictures and when you see them every day, you'll remind yourself of why you're putting in all this effort.

00:16:22.863 --> 00:16:25.957
I did this a few years ago.

00:16:25.957 --> 00:16:29.179
I made a vision board of a picture of a busy, thriving studio.

00:16:29.179 --> 00:16:45.214
I wanted to create a space where the clients love to come, not only for the service, but for the personality and the experience, and every time that I was tired or faced obstacles, I just would open up my book and look at that board and it motivated me to keep going.

00:16:45.214 --> 00:16:50.736
And let me tell you it is incredible at that board and it motivated me to keep going and let me tell you it is incredible.

00:16:50.736 --> 00:16:55.250
I'm standing inside of my space and, um, and I've achieved that, and that's because I could see what the success looked like.

00:16:55.250 --> 00:17:15.289
So I encourage you to make your own vision board, to keep it somewhere that you can see it inside your planner book or by your desk, or somewhere in your studio, or even use it as your phone wallpaper and have some slides on there, because really, it's about what you can see for yourself not for anyone else, but for you Now.

00:17:16.393 --> 00:17:29.951
Selling or setting goals and creating vision boards is an important first step, but here's the truth Goals without actions are just dreams, and it's what you do every day that brings those goals to life right?

00:17:29.951 --> 00:17:38.817
So taking action is that bridge between where you are now and where you want to be, and without it, dreams are just that they're dreams.

00:17:38.817 --> 00:17:51.336
So if you think about it, if you're just talking about it and you're not doing anything about it, I have some people that say I'm just going to pray on it or I'm just going to.

00:17:51.336 --> 00:17:58.138
You know, god's got the plan, which is totally true and totally viable, but you also have to take action, okay.

00:17:58.138 --> 00:18:03.673
So I'm excited because our sugar pro business coaching course is in action.

00:18:03.673 --> 00:18:09.263
This program is designed to help you take those dreams and turn them into a reality.

00:18:09.263 --> 00:18:16.319
I have the guidance and the actionable strategies and a supportive community, and you'll have everything that you need to succeed.

00:18:16.319 --> 00:18:22.778
It's almost like a roadmap that our co-pilot and a cheerleader rolled all into one.

00:18:22.778 --> 00:18:27.811
So, really, if it's not our program, that's fine.

00:18:28.252 --> 00:18:38.781
Get a business coach, get a life coach, get a business partner that you can bounce ideas off of and have some accountability, because one of the key features in our course, for example, is accountability.

00:18:38.781 --> 00:18:46.643
When you have someone holding you accountable, you are far more likely to stay on track and follow through on your plans.

00:18:46.643 --> 00:18:50.154
That's why I encourage you to find an accountability partner.

00:18:50.154 --> 00:18:56.714
This could be a fellow sugar pro or a mentor like myself, or even someone in your personal life who believes in you.

00:18:56.714 --> 00:19:07.119
Share your goals with them, check in with them regularly and lean on them for support when things get tough, and be available for them when things get tough for them.

00:19:08.000 --> 00:19:19.236
So think about this how many times have you set a goal, gotten started and then it just fizzles out because life got busy or you didn't have anyone to keep you motivated?

00:19:19.236 --> 00:19:22.583
An accountability partner changes that dynamic.

00:19:22.583 --> 00:19:25.695
They are there to remind you of your why.

00:19:25.695 --> 00:19:34.980
You know I do it for my boys and now they're off to college, and now I do this for myself because I have lots of time on my hands as an empty nester.

00:19:34.980 --> 00:19:43.694
And my colleagues, my education team they remind me that I'm doing this for them and for their students.

00:19:43.694 --> 00:19:52.179
So my education team, my educators that are around the country they challenge each other and hold each other accountable.

00:19:52.179 --> 00:20:03.920
So find a community we're happy to have you be part of ours and really work with them to celebrate your wins and to help you troubleshoot when those challenges arrive.

00:20:03.920 --> 00:20:05.426
Because they will arrive, my gosh.

00:20:05.426 --> 00:20:08.883
Sometimes it's every day it feels like, but challenges will, will arrive.

00:20:08.903 --> 00:20:13.201
You need to have that accountability partner, somebody that's your SD bestie, that can help you there.

00:20:13.201 --> 00:20:21.636
You're ready to make 2025 the year your business truly thrives.

00:20:21.636 --> 00:20:24.079
I invite you to take the next step.

00:20:24.079 --> 00:20:29.253
I invite you to join a business coaching course.

00:20:29.253 --> 00:20:30.557
We have one Again.

00:20:30.557 --> 00:20:38.938
Grab a mentor, find that accountability partner and let's make those dreams together, because this isn't about business growth.

00:20:38.938 --> 00:20:40.888
It's about creating the life that you envision.

00:20:41.410 --> 00:20:44.234
So I have students that, for example.

00:20:44.234 --> 00:20:48.671
They come to me, they want to work, they want to learn.

00:20:48.671 --> 00:20:51.616
They have no planner, they have no plans.

00:20:51.616 --> 00:20:58.395
They start out strong in January and they fizzle out, and that is not what we want for you.

00:20:58.395 --> 00:20:59.678
And make this year different.

00:20:59.678 --> 00:21:02.031
Make this year the year you finally have a budget.

00:21:02.031 --> 00:21:08.151
Make this year the year that you finally put together that business plan or get your name trademarked.

00:21:08.151 --> 00:21:16.291
You have everything that it takes to create a thriving sugar business even skincare business, just using sugar this year.

00:21:16.291 --> 00:21:25.057
But it all starts with clarity and action, and you need to set your goals and visualize them and take the first steps this month.

00:21:25.057 --> 00:21:35.406
There's nothing more powerful than moving forward with purpose, and my team and I are here for you every step of the way.

00:21:36.388 --> 00:21:41.828
So I'd love to hear about your vision boards, your goals, your plans for taking action.

00:21:41.828 --> 00:21:45.260
Feel free to share them inside the Love to Sugar community.

00:21:45.260 --> 00:21:46.786
We'd love to cheer you on.

00:21:46.786 --> 00:21:51.846
Tag me in Instagram with any of your socials that are showing you killing it in your business.

00:21:51.846 --> 00:21:53.891
Maybe you're a student and you're graduating.

00:21:53.891 --> 00:21:55.234
Tag us, tag Love to Sugar.

00:21:55.234 --> 00:21:57.928
Help us, let us cheer you on.

00:21:57.928 --> 00:22:01.969
Let us help you to just feel good about your business.

00:22:01.969 --> 00:22:14.630
Sometimes you really feel like you're on an island, and we want to change that this year and really create a sugar tribe community that supports each other and uses good products and, you know, takes their business to the next level.

00:22:14.630 --> 00:22:18.336
So let's make this the year that you truly transform your business.

00:22:19.198 --> 00:22:30.048
I think a lot about this beautiful industry of ours and I want to make sure that you all understand your goals for 2025.

00:22:30.048 --> 00:22:32.015
You understand how to do this.

00:22:32.015 --> 00:22:40.097
You have someone in your corner that's not going to laugh at you if you set a lofty goal, or they're not going to just keep saying yes to you.

00:22:40.097 --> 00:22:46.788
They're going to challenge you, and that's what this love to sugar community is all about, what the sugar tribe is built for.

00:22:46.788 --> 00:22:52.818
So the idea is that you come back every month and we will see you.

00:22:53.365 --> 00:22:56.152
The class starts the first Sunday every month.

00:22:56.152 --> 00:22:58.337
You will get a class sent to you.

00:22:58.337 --> 00:23:00.607
Starts the first Sunday every month.

00:23:00.607 --> 00:23:07.489
You will get a class sent to you, and then we have homework and action items and downloadables and email encouragement throughout the month and the Sugar Show podcast will be.

00:23:07.489 --> 00:23:14.067
The first Sunday of every month is when this will go live and you can listen to us.

00:23:14.067 --> 00:23:35.307
We're going to be like I said, bringing you success stories like my own, which I am so grateful to be able to share with all of you, and we'll be bringing you success stories from here on out from our educators and from sugar company owners that really are taking their business to the next level, and maybe you started scared and are finishing, had finished 2024 strong and are moving forward for 2025.

00:23:35.307 --> 00:23:39.296
So I look forward to seeing you every week.

00:23:39.296 --> 00:23:48.479
Now my social media team is in action and we just are going to be hands-on throughout the country with hands-on educators.

00:23:48.479 --> 00:23:56.148
So, if you're interested in being an educator, listen out for the educator application and this 2025 year.

00:23:56.148 --> 00:23:58.554
Man, we have been doing this a really long time.

00:23:58.554 --> 00:24:11.228
This COVID really kicked us in the backside and it's been a challenge with elections and inflation, and in California, we've got $5 gallons of gas that's starting to come down, thankfully, and you know.

00:24:11.910 --> 00:24:26.116
Now it's time for you and this business, and so if you have ever done anything for yourself, I tell you find a quiet space, get a brand new planner and a pen that you love.

00:24:26.116 --> 00:24:41.307
I have this one pen that I love the way it feels in my hand and writes Start baby steps by identifying your goals, your smart goals, and saying to yourself okay, what do I want for January, what do I want for February, what do I want for February, what do I want for March?

00:24:41.307 --> 00:24:42.571
You need help with that.

00:24:42.571 --> 00:24:43.233
We've got you.

00:24:43.233 --> 00:24:46.029
In the meantime, have a beautiful month.

00:24:46.029 --> 00:24:55.766
I look forward to seeing you I guess seeing you speaking to you next month, where we were going to talk about financial foundations and really taking ownership of your business.

00:24:55.766 --> 00:24:57.107
So, cheers to you all.

00:24:57.107 --> 00:25:02.757
I look forward to a beautiful 2025 and I am cheering you on all the way.

00:25:02.757 --> 00:25:04.220
Cheers to your sweet success.
