118. Rob Emmerich | Deputy Director of Athletics at Stony Brook University

Rob Emmerich is in his 17th year as an administrator on the Stony Brook Athletics staff and currently serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations. He oversees all marketing, ticketing, corporate sales, fundraising and communications efforts and is responsible for the implementation of Stony Brook Athletics' strategic marketing plan.

Emmerich arrived at Stony Brook in 1997 as the Director of Athletic Communications, overseeing all media relations efforts for 11 years. He was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for marketing and communications in 2005 before assuming further external responsibilities as Assistant Athletic Director for External Services in 2007. He was named Associate Athletic Director in December 2009.

Emmerich and his wife, Carmella, have a son, Lukas, and a daugher, Katherine, and reside in East Setauket, N.Y.
