Nate Boyer is a former United States Army Green Beret, retired football player, actor and director. After serving six years and multiple tours for the Army in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Nate played college football as a walk-on at the University of Texas despite never having played a down of organized football in his life. He was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an un-drafted free agent in 2015.
He delivers an outstanding directorial debut with his new movie, "MVP". The film is based on the true story of the formation of Merging Vets & Players (MVP), a nonprofit founded by Nate Boyer and Fox Sports NFL Insider, Jay Glazer.
