Recently I found myself slipping back into an unhealthy pattern of “trying to handle everything on my own.”
This was something that plagued me back when I was in the process of discovering who I wanted to be besides “Taj the football player.”
The difference this time around, is that I’m able to snap myself out of the “funk” a lot quicker than I could back then.
Unfortunately, my ability to quickly bounce back also enables me to justify not reaching out to others when I need help.
So what happens when I'm not able to bounce back right away?
I end up stuck in my old ways.
Anybody else out there have “lone wolf” tendencies like me?
