So you can start your podcast today. The pod podcasting demystified today, I'm speaking with Pankil Shah founder of. Outranking.io thank you for speaking to me today. Pankil: Thank you so much, Jennifer, for having me on your pocket is today Jennifer: Absolutely. It's a treasure to have someone like yourself coming in, talking to Tools of the podcast trades. So tell us about painkillers. Tell posts about me. Pankil: Yeah. So unlike any. I think and depending on where your journey starts with failure. A couple of startups I founded early on when I graduated from college, then I joined an enterprise company leading grow with growth at the space of databases where we were doing a lot of stuff with SEO creating tons and tons of content using internal stakeholders, not external internal and getting them to rank. Yeah. We were facing challenges of how you go about creating content at scale. And how do you [00:02:00] create defined guidelines for someone who doesn't understand what the SEO gimmicks are and stuff like that. We got out on a journey to build a product that can allow anyone to. Oh, really, but writer and a create content for web app. So that could absolutely mean converting or creating content from any of the existing sources or existing media. Like for example, if they are a good YouTube post, would allow you to convert your YouTube transcripts into a blog post. Like things like that. So we wanted to enable everyone to become a bit writer or a, to skip that stepping stone in without having to Jennifer: know much about it. Okay. All right. So thank you for that. You mentioned. And a lot of times we think of SEO as only are necessary when we're blogging. So people can find out the website, but tell us how SEO benefits the podcast Pankil: or anyways. So let's go back and even the podcasters you'd want your podcast to reach the maximum audience, and to reach that audience, you need to first understand. [00:03:00] Audience is going to be likely interested. And that's a major struggle, like any piece of content that goes out that you often wonder whether I'm providing the right value to my audience or not. Great. So in that case, and this is a practice that we've used to before we were doing webinars, in our case, we were doing webinars, it's a similar situation because you're doing a very technical. And you're diving deep into suss technical pieces of this content users often get lost, right? So you need to have that follow-up post and you need to have that follow-up type process that you can then circulate to your audience the same way.
It's like when we were trying to come up with topics for this webinar, this is where SEO comes in and it goes to applies to podcasts as well. Is that we did keyword research instead of. Instead of going around and guessing what would it be catered to audiences? What we did was we picked out the phrases that were searched the maximum amount of time and the space that we were. And then we could, we came up with a creative idea around that. So it was easy. We knew what we had to go on. To get to [00:04:00] our ideal audience and we knew what they were searching for and the maximum amount. And then you just pick an idea on top of that. So you out of the hat, okay, this will resonate with people that are searching for it online. Everywhere. Yeah. And there's like a keyword search engine for YouTube. There's keyword search for Amazon red lakes. All everywhere. You host your content now is going to have a seminar type of searches that users are doing on that platform. And as a person who is creating a podcast, you'd want organic discovery. For your podcasts, right? Like someone is searching for something very specific. They w you want them to land on your podcast. So I'd say SEO comes a bit handy over there. A second thing is that you want to diversify. So let's say you have a podcast and you want to that's one form of media. So one form of media. The podcast. And what if you could repurpose that? What if you could repurpose that and create other assets, which can drive seminar, sorta all discovery for your content, and that's what you want to aim for, right? So this is where, what you [00:05:00] can do. Like you can create your podcast. You've created that initial research and your title. That's going to resonate with the target audience. Now you have the content after the podcast, you can take that and use a tool like outranking. We just dumped the transcripts in and it'll give you a blog post, right? A secondary piece of asset, a blog post that you can then put on your website, optimized for SEO and drive organic traffic to that webpage. And then also get those users to listen to that podcast. Jennifer: Okay. All right. Thank you very much. So we can use SEO as a tool, basically, as podcasts are the two things, one to see what people want, right? Because you want to meet the needs when you do your podcast, but it also helps you when you provide for those needs. Find you, okay. So that's one, two. The second tool is you talk about re repurposing your content and for video or blog posts, tell us now about outranking and how can that benefit. Pankil: So a lot of podcasts are like very impromptu, right? They're structured. You ask them specific questions and [00:06:00] there's an answer to it. And it's just a huge discussion that goes around it. And there's tons of summarization that you'd have to do in order to come up with a good luck post around it. So what we did and I'll try and. Okay, how do we do this? So what we did with, we build out this really cool feature, where you can take raw transcripts of your podcast, just dump it in there. And within a few minutes, it will crunch an entire blog post for you using that content and give it to Excel. You sure it's not going to be published. Ready? A hundred percent. But that 10% effort and to clean it up and make it concise and stuff like that, but it reduces your efforts like, tremendously, and then you can score it for SEO publish on your website. And so that's what outranking does it help you write content for web from any kind of source for any kind of page using guided assistance? So it can not only. Give you information that AI already knows, but it can understand the new information that you have or the expertise that you have in your raw reference content, right? That's a blog, [00:07:00] a podcast or a video or whatever, and convert that into knowledge base. So now you have something very powerful that you can just publish out of the hat and get additional users looking at your. Jennifer: Oh, great. I like that. Cause sometimes you were too busy figuring out what we're doing and we don't have time to utilize the opportunity of blogposts. For instance, I love blog posts and I think it's the best way to communicate, but your outranking.io will take that transcript and convert it into something. Read a. And then we can go in and make sure it lines up with what we're trying to say, the message we're trying to portray and exactly Pankil: right. And easy as that. And I think this will help you create different assets from the same media that you have. Allowing you to reach a lot more people are audiences that digest information in different ways. Some people like listening to podcasts while there are many out there who just want to read a blog post, you're catering to different kinds of audiences as well to get your messaging out
Jennifer: there. Yes. Yes, for sure. [00:08:00] Thank you. It seems a trending topic though, nowadays, and I can see why, because having a podcast is having a valuable asset, but if you're only reaching people who are on the go for the most part. Most podcast listeners are on the go. And so it helps it benefits the podcast a lot. If we can repurpose that content and share that very same message with others who are reading or even on video, Pankil: and this can help you create an additional nurture program, right? Like you can send us emails, reminding them. There are so many benefits of this. I've seen podcasters create like one podcast every day. It's just so busy. They're running around and there's just no room for them to come up with blog posts. So this would like to significantly bridge that gap. And half an hour, you can have a blog post ready, a hundred percent. Publish radio.
That's amazing. Yeah. That Jennifer: is that's an absolute valuable tool, but thank you for sharing with us. And so I'm guessing that's the way to panics your [00:09:00] content production, right? Can you run that Pankil: 10 X your content production? So what we noticed. When it comes to creating content, there's so many nuances to it, right? Like I think AI has brought another sort of challenge when solving one challenge. One is that it's making it easier for you to write content, even if it is a card, which is so we're making it easier for you to write content, but because it is reading this content for you. And because your users who are reading this information are much more mature than they were like 10, 10 years ago when they just had no information, they like good information. They like reading, engaging information. That's what's going to get your content moving. So AI, no, AI, I think the challenge now is that everybody needs to be a better writer to get their content, to be engaging, and stuff like that. But not everybody is. With an understanding of how to write and tones, write a hook and a paragraph, right? Like how to structure your content for SEO and stuff like that. So 10 X is without tracking. What it really means is that we'll hold your [00:10:00] hand. Step-by-step to fig, to ideation, to curating. To actually writing with it and to optimizing it for SEO and as well as, your copywriting ability. So the content that you push out is not only 10 X faster, but it is also 10 X better. And that's what we are really trying to influence Jennifer: you. But because I am a podcast and this is actually my second podcast. Too. And I have all this content someone said to me yesterday, all these people, you're talking to all these people, but not everybody here, that content because it just sitting on podcasts. And so that's a great tool on outrank. It, I'm going to try it actually. Pankil: Couple of other ways you can benefit from this tool as well. So you can create, you can dump your transcript or you can also create summaries that you can post on your podcast pages, right? That also has a certain amount of content. Exactly. So that can drive some additional organic traffic if there's sufficient content with some valuable insights over there. Jennifer: Great. Thank you. So what is. Pankil: I'm grateful to be alive [00:11:00] and to be hustling. And I'm grateful for all the opportunity. I have a tremendous amount of customer base that has given us in a very short time to allow us to actually create this kind of app we crowdsourced, right? Like we did lifetime deal earlier on, and it's just a tremendous amount of teachers who joined. And that just gave us so much push to be able to build out something so significant that it's not totally reliant on just AI. We have our logics that help you. Creating this content is a tremendous amount of time. And at first set went behind it. So I'm really grateful to be still here and still be still hustling. And do we still speaking to you and all the wonderful audience that you have Jennifer: that I'm going to, I'm going to make some fun now. All right. So how can we get to. Software and us a little bit about it.
Any specials going on? Pankil: Yes, absolutely. We're currently doing a lifetime deal not lifetime being, sorry, grandfather deal, where it's heavily discounted and we're running this through till January the seventh. That's when we have the newest version of our product [00:12:00] coming out. Some really amazing capabilities that are not heard of and seen yet for creating content.
So we're running that special till then. It's a $39, I believe for the lowest tier and yeah, your documents don't get to expire so you can continue accumulating them so you can match your frequency with it. And it's probably the best deal out there. As of right now for any well, there's just no comparison. There's their competitor. I'd say it's a very. A competitive deal. Jennifer: Okay. Thanks. Yeah, I do, I've used a couple of these AI copy AI software, and I find that you do all the hard work. They just throw stuff out at you. And I find the ID. Putting the transcript into the socket, letting the software do a little of the work for you. I find that very Pankil: attractive, this attractive to then that when you go to any of these other tools that use AI, they are relying on short that you, they want you to do the hard work of thinking and putting stuff in, and then they do a little bit of work and then you still have to do a lot [00:13:00] more work to edit it and make it to the finish line. It's a little different without shrinking was you don't have to do the hard work of coming up with the research to put it in our software has capabilities to go and research the things that you would want on its own find concepts and key points that you can use to write around it on its own, and then influence that data using AI to write actually facts, not fiction, right?
So it does the entire process in an automated, which is doing the heavy lifting. But what you have to do is just the. Yeah. Just tweaking here and
Jennifer: there. So very cool thing. And then the $39 already can point, if you start up that one, once you do an update in January, that price is grandfathered in, then is that what you're Pankil: saying? Do the update and. We are no longer going to be doing the spacing. The pricing will go up. We're going back to our standard pricing. It's just much different than what we currently have, but yeah, so that's the plan. And yeah, this is bang for the buck right now. If you create four or five, 10 [00:14:00] documents a month and you just really don't have time. It's 39. It's going to save you 30 to 40 hours, the post to a couple of, yeah. Jennifer: And if you're churning out podcasts on the podcast, they have today, it's a great tool. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for coming and talking to us today. I really appreciate Pankil: it. Thank you so much, Jennifer, for having me. It was a, I had really fun conversations with you. Pankil: No, I'd say don't be scared of AI, right? Like it's here to help you do your task faster. It's helped you to here to help you make you a better writer. It's not going to replace you anytime soon. Like writers feed sometimes oh, it's going to replace it, but that's not the case. And I'd say, I'll try and king were doing something really innovative stuff that other AI cannot do just by AI capabilities, added advantages. So go and check out outranking.io to outrank your competition. Jennifer: Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks for listening. As you can tell, there are many tools.
