I have noticing the amount of anti-semitism going on world wide. It is really getting crazy, or should I say crazy-er. One Rabbi made a comment that the amount of hatred toward the Jews is almost equal to the Hitler era. In the midst of all of it, I can’t help but notice the amount of Christians that are against Jews. Not that I am any better than anyone else, but I can happily say that even as a child growing up, I have always had a respect for Jews, even though I knew very very few, i knew enough to know that they were God’s chosen people. Not sayin they were to be worshipped or looked at any better than we non Jews are, but that because they were God’s chosen people, it would be wise for me not to slander them. I have quite a few friends on Facebook that are Christians and at the same same time, ant-Jew, although many would not admit it, the tone is set by their posts. It really saddens my heart seeing this because it shows me that many “Christians” have no clue of what this whole “covenant thing” is all about.
One of the biggest claims in circulation is that the “Jews” in Israel are NOT the “True Jews”. Along with this comes sooooo many crazy theories. According to the “Black Hebrew Roots”, they claim that the Africans or rather the “so called Negro” as the call they call it, are the true Jews, and that those Jews in Israel are the false Jews spoken of in Revelation. I have heard a few scholars address this claim, and based off of facts, it can be agreed that even though there were Jews that migrated to Africa, and a few surrounding areas, that this was NOT all of the Jews. There are so many other stories out there about the Jews in Israel being false as well, but I’m so not going to touch all of them. What I will touch on is this, if indeed the Jews in Israel are all fake, as if there was a way to prove that every single one really was fake, then God sure hasn’t gotten that memo. Why do I say that? Well, lets look at Israel prior to 1948. It was prophesied that it would pretty much be a wasteland, in which it was, for well over a thousand years. I once read an article about the infamous Mark Twain, who had made a trip there during his lifetime, and remarked
“.[a] desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds-a silent mournful expanse….A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action….We never saw a human being on the whole route….There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil, had almost deserted the country“.
This was in the 1800’s. So this land, once said by God to be flowing with milk and honey, was now a mere “waste land”. Fast forward to the end of the Holocaust, the UN had given thumbs up for the Jews to go back home. Unbeknownst to the world, prophecy was being fulfilled. The prophet Isaiah had spoken concerning this in Isaiah 66:8. This was a great joy for Jews as they began rejoice to once again occupy the land given to them by God. Funny thing is that not long after it happened, all of the surrounding nations begin to immediately want them dead, ousted, and “pushed into the ocean” as many of the Arabs had said. By the mid 60’s, the a handful of Arab nations waged war on Israel. Not one single nation, including the U.S. lifted a finger to help them. All of Israel was terrified. They had no real army, at least not one that could handle all of these enemies. Although they expected defeat, I mean look at the numbers, it’s inevitable, right? Wrong! How many times in the history of this people did they outnumber their enemy? Truely one of the most amazing wars in the history of wars. This was known as the 6 Day War. A 6 day war, seriously? If one were to ask, why 6 days and not 7 or 12, or even 24, you would have to look at the people you are talking about. It seems quite obvious, it had to end in 6 days because the 7th day was the Sabbath, and they had to rest, according to Torah.
Yeah, I know it sounds funny, but think about it though. Is this really far off when considering who they are? In just about 20 years since they became a nation again, they had ran out their enemies, regained almost all of their promised land, to include the Holy City, Jerusalem. How can you NOT see the Divine hand of the Most High at work? Yet many say, these people are fake Jews. Like I said earlier, God must not have gotten the memo, or maybe His favor is on anyone who occupies the land of Israel, to include heathen nations. Since the time that these so called fake Jews have occupied their homeland again, they have become a cornerstone in the medical field, technology, and even in the field of agriculture. The people who occupied the land prior to 1948 could not boast of any of that. But, these are “fake Jews”. One cannot deny that Israel has become a priceless jewel in the world today. They even supply 10% of Europes produce. I also find it interesting that Israel only wanted peace with its neighbors, and were willing to give away some of the the land they reclaimed for the sake of peace, but they all said NO, no peace with Israel. They simply want them destroyed. As for the land, I can actually see why they refused it. That was their portion from God to them, and to them alone. It was NOT to be given away, in fact, its not theirs to even give away. In the world that we live in today, it seems everyone hates the Jews. The U.N. was one of Israel’s biggest enemies. On every hand, they single Israel out, regardless if its for something they had done wrong or right, just simply because they too, have it in for them. One of the biggest issues was that of the world recognizing Jerusalem as their capital. I mean it was God who established it as such, but the nations sternly oppose that. Every US President from then until the time of Barak Obama refused to acknowledge it as so. Some privately acknowledged it, but never openly until President Donald Trump took office. He immediately stirred the pot with his “pro” Israel policies, publicly acknowledging Jerusalem as capital AND moving our embassy their. Without a doubt, this man has done more for God’s people than any other sitting US President. He also made it his business to take a stand for the Church as well, but many Christians are so blinded by what he is not that they can’t see what he is. Don’t get me wrong, I am NOT making this political, nor am I endorsing him in anyway, BUT I am saying that I can see the hand of God on him.
Many Christians have preconceived notions of what God will and wont use that they take it upon themselves to set the criteria for vessels fit to be used by Him. One thing for sure, one doesn't even have to be a holy person, let alone a follower of God for Him to use them. Think about all those gentile nations He used to punish Israel when they rebelled against Him. These were straight up pagans, but He had a use for them. How much more can He have a use for a man like Donald Trump. This man may have a lot of faults, is a hot head, and not the most eloquent man but one thing for sure, he has reguard for the things of God as well as the people of God. Some of the more eloquent and refined people, the ones we think are fit for His use are the ones who refuse to stand up for the things God is concerned with. Many share the view the Arabs and want Israel thrown into the ocean. To reiterate, I am not endorsing Donald Trump, just saying I can see the hand of God guiding him, as a willing vessel.
And now back to Israel. In the midst of all this anti-semitism, I really believe that the church has forgotten how we got into this grace that we seem to think is all about us. Read the Scriptures. Paul, the Apostle that you falsely think taught you to forsake the Old Testament, and God’s Law (Torah), said that we are here ONLY because Israel had rejected the Messiah. It is their rejection that opened the door for us to be able to be grafted in to the commonwealth of Israel, that we might provoke them to jealousy. Why? Because after being provoked to jealousy, they would come back to God. While many of you are praying and calling on Yeshua to return, well, the piece of the puzzle you ate missing is this, Yeshua told the Jews, not the Church, but the Jews, His chosen people, that they would not see Him again until THEY, THEM THE JEWS all cried out, “Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord”. If indeed you want Messiah to return, then stop calling them fake, stop teaching that we have “replaced” them in the covenant, and instead seek to find common ground with them. Establish dialogue with them. Seek to understand them. Pray for them. Pray with them. Only then will Messiah come, but we need to be unified, like the early church was prior to Constantine. Back when the Jews and Gentiles worshipped together, and had all things common. This is what we sadly lack today and totally need to get back together. If indeed these Jews in Israel are fake, we have a looooong way to go before Yeshua returns because they wrong people are occupying the land. Is this really what we believe? Is God confused about the location of His people? have we forgotten what being “grafted in” means? Just a little something from my heart. My sincere prayer is that God would open the eyes of His people and remove the scales that we may clearly see and get onboard with His will, His people and His plan. Blessings!
