In this weeks episode, we start the final book of the Torah. Deuteronomy, known in the Hebrew as D'varim, which means "words", is the recollection of Moses of all that had taken place from the time that they crossed the Yam Suf (Red Sea), until now. Considering how the book of Numbers ends, it is possible that this may have been what Moses told the people prior to anointing Joshua as his successor, and then heading up the mountain to die. In any case, as we read this book, we find several places were more insight is given to things that previously happened that may have seemed a bit vague as we read them.
