During this time of year, I've noticed a Facebook trend where on most Messianic Believers tend to attack Christians for celebrating Christmas. Not wanting to jump on the bandwagon, I thought it better to focus on the day chosen to observe the birth of Messiah. The question posed is this, with so much info out there concerning the origins of December 25th, and the pagan roots connected to it, predating the observance of this same date as he birth of Messiah, can we actually take a day originally used in paganism, and re-brand it is a "holy" day? Or would it be better to just pick a whole different day for this observance?
