Amazing podcast!!

I am a third year high school special Ed teacher and this podcast moves me in so many ways!
I love hearing about how your family lovingly deals with the good and the hard times with Trent.
I have a student that reminds me of Trent (a 18 year old who is very violent at times and can’t express his needs). My goal is to give the parents at least 7 hours of the day without them having to get “that call”.
I’ve been punched all over and had to sit as all my things I bought for my class got ripped down and destroyed as I waited out his rage. The destruction is nothing compared to the gratefulness the parents have for just finding someone that allows their child in their class.

I hope others can hear this podcast and if not find ways to help parents of children with ASD then they can at least get awareness of how hard it can really be.
