Cassie is one of the bright stars in the LA Tech scene. Her journey had her go from homelessness to fashion designer to full stack developer to community organizer empowering her community's at-risk/high-risk youth to face to the 21st century.
In 2013 she created District2.Co to help streamline the process of connecting fashion designers to factories.
She created the non-profit MISLA (Made In South LA), to help her community create something wonderful. Assisting at-risk/high-risk children in learning high technology and multi-media stimulating the community. Community organizations contract out the budding youth to on an ongoing basis to take over their web-dev and branding.
