10 Minute Murder -
This is a podcast for the fast and busy people who just want a rundown of the crime and what happened. I know quite a few people who just want to be a walking index of murders and prefer no chit-chat. This pod delivers. That doesn’t mean the victims and the impacts the crime had on them are lost. True crime junkies know that truly horrific acts aren’t just direct but have a way of rippling through friends, family and communities. The show does a solid job of being insightful while making you empathize with all those affected. Itunes has 52 ratings and 51 of them are 5 stars! I’m not sure I’ve reviewed a pod with such a high average like that. Only 6 written reviews so if you listen and like it please be sure to go show it some love. Episodes are about 14 minutes long so perfect for listening to a few on the commute to work. There are 56 episodes out now and new ones come out three times a week. Owltail has the top episodes as Halloween Movie Massacre and Diabolical Stew Of Human Remains. I found the most interesting to be I Killed Them Because I Was Born To and The Coast To Coast Killer Tommy Lynn Sells. Music is on theme and the host has a really recognizable radio voice. Each episode starts with 2-3 ads that can be easily skipped through. The script is obviously really well thought out and planned.
