Love this show!
Heather feels like my second mom! 🥰 Sweet, compassionate and just downright insightful. I always feel better about myself after listening.

Life Changing….really!!!
Listening to Heather’s podcasts has completely changed my life (obviously through God). I have struggled for decades with MAJOR body image issues! I searched and searched for help with no avail….until I discovered Heather Creekmore’s book, “Compared to Who”. I listen to every one of her podcasts. She is so relatable and real! But at the same time, she delivers biblical truth that we need to hear-she does it with so much love and grace, though! My heart and mind is being transformed and I am healing from the slavery I have been trapped in for years. I thank God for Heather!!

Gospel Centered Podcast
I’m so thankful for the work that God is doing through Heather and this podcast. I work in the fitness industry and you almost never hear about “Body Image Idolatry”. This idol is so rampant and we Christians have gone into this Spiritual Battlefield totally unequipped & unprepared for way too long. Thank you, Heather, for reminding us that our issue and our battle is not with food & exercise but with the issues of the heart combined with culture’s taunts and threats to conform! This is a Gospel centered podcast that keeps pointing us back to what Jesus did on the cross!!! Amen & amen!!!

Needed truths and encouragement
Heather goes there on the food, body image and idol worship topics that no one else in the church seems to be covering. Needed grace-filled truths and vulnerable encouragement. Always listen the moment each episode comes out. Thank you, Heather!

Must listen to podcast!
I’ve been listening to Heather for a year now and been through group coaching and both have changed my life! I never realized the idols of body image and exercise that I had in my life. I didn’t think it was possible to not be consumed by my food choices, appearance, and exercise but I don’t live that way anymore. Don’t get me wrong, there are still bad moments but with Heather, I’ve learned how to work through them. ❤️ Every woman should listen to her podcast!

God first- then everything else!
Heather is super encouraging and biblical based teaching about body image and living for God, not self. My favorite are the 30 days of prayer!

So relatable!
Heather is a breath of fresh air! Her authenticity is beautiful and heart for God is palpable! She speaks to topics that are important to me: body image, the comparison trap, and how God loves us through these common struggles. Love this podcast!

Just Discovered This Encouraging Gem
I recently discovered Heather’s podcast and am so thankful to God that I did. Her honest, no judgement approach to such an emotionally charged subject makes for a safe space to listen and learn. But don’t get the idea that it’s all rainbows and flowers here. Heather really gets me to think about the reasons and motivation for some of the thought processes I have and how destructive they can be. Through Scripture, Heather presents (Conviction, at times!) how GOD SEES ME. And in turn how I should see myself. She also gives some very practical advice on what to do/how to solve the particular subject of that podcast. I never get to the end of the podcast thinking “Well, that was a good discussion. Now what do I do about it?” Thank you, Heather, for sharing your gift with us. Blessings!!

Thanks be to God
Dear Heather, God led me to your podcast in September by a dear friend of mine. I have struggled with body image all of my life and now I’m on the path of freedom! After 4+decades of running I face hip replacement surgery. Needless to say, it has rocked my world of control of my weight, value and worth. But God … in His mercy has shown me real truth and grace through your insights. As a believer for 40+ years I’m finally surrendering my food, my body, and exercise ( no running anymore)allowing Him to be my source of Beauty. All these nuggets of truth are beginning to penetrate my heart and I’m so grateful! Thank you, Heather! Cathy W. In Waco

Very helpful!
This podcast made me realize I’m not alone and has offered a lot of insight and interesting perspective on a complicated issue. So glad I came across this!

Everything I needed
Heather, Thank you so much for the podcast. I have struggled with eating disorders and exercise addiction for over a decade after losing 120 pounds. I have so much fear and anxiety. A year ago I injured my self after too much working out and I haven’t been able to workout as much and I fell into a whole new level of depression. God is revealing to me in this season that he is using my injuries to break my addiction. Thank you for this scripture and Jesus driven podcast. I needed it more than you know!!

Closer to Jesus
Heather, your podcast has helped to give me a new perspective on my body image, taking my eyes off myself and turning them more fully to Jesus. I can resonate with the subjects you talk about and I appreciate your advise and wisdom. Thanks for being amazing! Your compassion for women and desire to see them set free is a gift from God.

Regained 60 of 120 pounds lost and found hope here
I had maintained a 100+ pound weight loss for almost 12 years when the pandemic hit. I lost the in person support that had kept me accountable. The stress felt unbearable and I ate a lot. Although meetings resumed I couldn’t “get my head together” to lose the weight. My counselor suggested body positivity podcasts. After listening for a few weeks I realized that I was using the excuse that I couldn’t get my head together to avoid taking responsibility and kept up the cycle of binge, repent, repeat. I had been doing binge restrict and the shame of weekly weigh ins worked pretty well to keep me thin. I just couldn’t keep those self imposed rules anymore. Heather helped me to see that God’s love is unconditional and that he is not judging me. I realized that I will never be happy with my body if I keep comparing my body now to my thinner body. I’m learning to think differently about food and to appreciate rather than hate my body. I have much to learn but I’m not eating like a rebellious child all of the time and I haven’t had to go up a size for months so I think these ideas are starting to sink in. I’m grateful for Heather’s help. Every time I hear her introduction I feel hopeful.

Compared to Who? is definitely for you!
I love how Heather breaks down what she’s trying to say. She’s so honest yet sweet. She talks about all the topics that every woman faces! It always helps me and teaches me to lean more on God during my struggles! She truly cares and wants everyone to overcome this issue that tears women down! I bought both of her books and have been listening to all of her podcasts. Definitely hits the soul!

Hits Home
I love Heather’s messages, honesty, and bravery. She goes there, and puts herself out there, for the sake of helping her listeners. Her podcast has been such a blessing and tool in my recovery and the messages in her podcast always hit home!

Can’t get enough!
Heather’s life lessons on comparison are something I needed desperately! I started listening while on vacation, and ended up binging on episodes while I languished at the beach. Not kidding, thanks to Heather’s Godly messages, I am now wearing shorts, short sleeve shirts and knee length skirts and at age 67, I am more comfortable than ever in my skin. Becky McGeorge
