why does everyone hate Britt

I honesty don’t understand why people hate her sooo much. I personally wish there would be more of britt, I think the hate is honestly unnecessary. Love u britt💗💗

I love love love this podcast. I think Ashley and Britt are amazing. They tell the stories well and I love that they spread awareness. Not only do we get the story but they also share ways to help. I’ve listened to a few podcasts that I can only do a few episodes at a time but this one I can listen to all day and not get tired or bored of it. I think everyone should give it a try! Thank you guys!!

Ashley and Brit

Love Crime Junkie, this is by far the best crime podcast ever so thank you for all your hard work and dedication you girls put into these cases. This podcast gives light to the victims and a voice to their families. Theres no CJ without Ashley or Brit!

Love you girls!!! Love this podcast!!

Oh my gosh I started working from home as a Medical Coder a few months ago after being in an office environment for a year! While I am beyond ecstatic to be able to work from home, it has been QUIET, and a huge adjustment. I had been listening to and finished something was wrong before this, but started down the Crime Junkie rabbit hole and have been hooked ever sense! I appreciate your passion for true crime and love you even more because you care SO MUCH about every story you talk about. I am also a recovering Addict and wanted to specifically thank you for how you speak on addiction, homelessness, alcoholism etc. Just finished the Manhole Murders story and felt compelled to write a review. Keep up the good work! You ladies are amazing.

My literal favorite podcast ever so descriptive, they have so much emotion i listen to at least 2 a day and one on the way to school in traffic, listening to these makes me so much more aware of my surroundings as a woman…

Love this duo

Update: so happy to tune in after a break to discover Brit is back 🎉 I love this show so much and there’s so much I can say about the respectful way they present, while staying intriguing. My main comment though is to address another reviewer calling it political. Addressing someone by their chosen pronouns is not politics, it’s human decency. I appreciate so much that this show does that and really have no clue why that is political or bothersome to someone. It would be beyond disrespectful for them not to care about the victims preferred name and pronouns! Thank you again to the show for your basic human decency, for every one you lose you’ll gain so many more listeners for that.

Love this podcast!

Crime Junkies is amazing with the story telling, made so much better with Brit’s contributions! I enjoy the episodes much more when there are discussions between Ashley and Brit and I’m so glad Brit is back!

Love the show…except….

The storytelling is great but the back and forth with Britt just doesn’t work. Her questions and comments are actually quite distracting from the story. I’ve heard other episodes where Britt isn’t there and it’s such a huge difference.

Absolutely Addicting!

I have quickly fallen in love with Crime Junkie podcast. They get to the story in a timely manner, the story doesn’t have a ton of profanity-which I appreciate, and Ashley and Britt’s passion for the cases is evident. This is a daily listen for me!

I honestly love listening to this while traveling and going to games, and so forth. I think Brit should stay. People can’t tell others that they need to get rid of them. They aren’t cringe. People need to understand that this is their passion and if they don’t want to leave they don’t have too. Please understand that this isn’t kind to say “Get rid of Brit, she’s so cringe.” That’s not the right thing to do. They put so much effort into what they are doing.

Absolutely loving the “girl talk” vibes with Britt!!

I love the stories, dedication, and goal of this Podcast, but I also love the girl talk vibes that Britt brings to the podcast. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ashley’s voice and narrative input, but Britt is so relatable and fun. The two of them make me feel like I’m sitting with my girls talking about the latest news or blog post.

I LOVE IT!! I NEED MORE!!

I am a true crime junkie! My aunt, grandmother, friends mom, and stepmom listen to it and still do. When had family get togethers they rave about it, and before I started listening I had no idea what they were talking about. I am in middle school listen to Crime Junkie while I am on the bus, doing chores, and basically anything! I just got done listening to the Amy Weidner and I am hooked on her case! There are so many true crime podcasts but this is one of the best! ( in my opinion) I haven’t been on the crime junkie train since day one but love it!! 🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍

Best true crime podcast!

I’m late to the crime junkie world but have quickly become obsessed and have been binging all of the seasons from the beginning! I love the detail and the story telling ability of Ashley and Brit and feel so honored to be a fellow hoosier (they need to be inducted into the Indiana hall of fame!). I can not get enough of each episode and as much as I enjoy binging I’m so worried about when I’m finally caught up and have to wait each week for an episode instead of just getting to binge multiple hours in a row! I’ve recommended the podcast to multiple people (most know it now) but will continue to do so in case there are any other who were living under a rock like me!

Truth and Advocacy

I seriously love this podcast. I’ve listened to all of the episodes several times over. The light and focus Brit and Ashley bring to the cases they discuss is much needed. I also appreciate their honest opinions. I’ve read several reviews about the so called “police bashing”. However, you can’t call it bashing if they are simply pointing out what the investigators and police did wrong in the case. Unfortunately, it seems that the cases that are still open or unsolved have not been fully investigated properly and a lot was left on the table. When those are the cases you focus on in a podcast to bring new light in and hopefully help make strides, patterns emerge. And that’s not at the fault of these amazing and talented podcasters. It is unfortunately, the fault of those who have been put in charge of solving these cases. So “police bashing”, not here. Truth and advocacy, absolutely. Keep up the hard work ladies! You are amazing!

I love every episode! I even subscribe for Patreon!! I just am confused about ‘Going West’ being the name when the stories aren’t just from the west or Midwest exclusively. It’s crime from the east coast, too. Even across the world for Patreon. North and south lol. What’s going west mean?

Best show ever

I left one in 2018 but re listen to episodes and I’m back on episode from July 2019 actually around when I became a patreon but Ashley was hoping to get 100,000 reviews definitely blew that out of the water but I still wanted to help out my favorite podcast actually audiochuck is the only podcast I listen too.

Need some closure

I have been a loyal crime junkie from the start, and anxiously anticipated Mondays for a new episode. I’m getting a little burnt out from so many unresolved cases though. Every so often, it would be awesome if you’d cover a case that actually gets solved! I understand the reason for choosing unsolved cases, to bring attention to them, but it would be nice to occasionally hear about a case with a resolution.

To all listeners out there, please be aware of false alarms from your SimpliSafe alarm. Mine went off in the middle of the night and dispatch the fire department for no reason. I was so scared somebody was breaking in I almost jumped out the window. It sure doesn’t make me feel safe anymore!!

Loyal Crime Junkie

I’m in awe of how Ashley tells the story in such an amazing way, starting backwards. I love how she speaks her mind and Brit is just honestly amazing overall. I love hearing bits about their personal lives as if we’re having a real conversation. It’s amazing what these two women do, waking the world up about any and every case, because of them I have tried to donate, make noise, and share the cases. I’m glad I stumbled upon them because I am never leaving.
