Crime Junkie is an amazing podcast where Ashley not only does an amazing job telling the stories, but Britt asks all the right questions, questions that you may be wondering, or never even thought of. They just add more to the retelling of the story. Also, Ashley’s research is incredible. I was researching cases for a school project once and is was difficult to filter through all the contradictions and false information. Ashley knows so much about each case she is able to tell it’s story. For anyone who thinks that the “I don’t knows” are because she doesn’t do her research, try to tell a complete story of a cold case, it’s not easy. I love how Ashley and Britt don’t just tell the story, they explain things such as certain laws or terms. They also talk about important connected topics such as police corruption, things other podcasts don’t talk about. What I appreciate is the fact that when they talk about things like this, Ashley and Britt try to see both sides of things. They don’t just say “these police need to up their game” the say, “well maybe these investigators had other cases they were working on”. It gives you more of an understanding of what is going on behind the scenes. Also everything people are saying is wrong (not to be mean to them) Britt is AMAZING and so is Ashley, they don’t deserve the hate, they are people too. Love you guys and keep doing what your doing, it’s is WONDERFUL 💕
