A go to podcast
I really like this show, but some episodes I avoid (mysterious death, unsolved) because it can be a lot of rambling. But I do like that awareness is brought to the cases that are unsolved.

It’s a good podcast but…
I feel like they are very passionate about the stories that they cover, but I feel like the episodes are way too short. They are short podcasts which is fine but there are just way to many ads. It feels like half of the show is just ads. Some of the cases they cover seems like a very quick overall compared to other podcasts that cover a lot more and go into more detail. I also wish that they would have more cases that have been solved. When they post their other shows on here it can get a bit confusing. I’m all for advertising your other shows but it feels like kind of a copy paste when you are excited for the new episode to come out and it’s from a completely different podcast. I mean all of this as constructive criticism and will continue to listen.

Just perfect
This is the BEST podcast ever! I’ve been here from the start and have never not enjoyed it. They are so good, the only thing that I might have a problem is would be the seldom cuss word, but I can totally get past that because of the rest of the podcast. Five stars!

Too many ads
Used to love this podcast but the ads have become unbearable. Within 15 minutes of the episode you have 3 ad breaks which are at least 2 minutes long. Can’t listen to this podcast anymore unless I’m right next to my phone to skip through them

One of my favorites
I started listening when they were on like episode 4. During that time I was in a DV situation. I knew it but was in denial. These girls helped me through that time. They helped me realize what my situation was. They helped me find a way out. I was listening to them as I packed the kids and my stuff. And as we drove. The “in case I go missing” folder type episodes have saved us for than once. (I attract danger I guess). They have also inspired me to become a local advocate for DV and mental health. And my dogs love Chucks sign off. Silent Juno pretends to howl too. She’s a Dalmatian/Dane mix.

Would be 3 stars…
For the love of god get new T-Mobile ad copy. That woman has being freaking getting ready to leave for France in a few days for two months now. I switched to Verizon out of pure annoyance.

Race race race
All these race baiting white knights talk about his race if anyone is black,They make sure u kno! “White dude” they called one suspect! Between that Britt hoping in with her stupid takes! Or listening to Britt talk!

I came back
I feel like they rush and no offense…why do we have Britt? She’s great but can she have her own pod?

Great podcast!
It's a really great podcast and they really do their research HOWEVER sometimes the conversations between the two hosts sound scripted or forced and it's the most amount of commercials I've ever heard in a short podcast

Stop saying ‘like’ every 4 words!
Like the podcast but the constant ‘like’ said by Ashley every other word is beyond annoying!!! Taking a break.

LOVE this podcast & highly recommend
I could’ve sworn I had written a review for this podcast before !!! I’ve been binge listening to crime junkie since 2020! I also love their other podcast too Edit: Been a loyal listener since 2020! I also love all the other podcast audiochuck has to offer. Highly recommend! definitely has binge worthy episodes and gives information to allow you to help the families in need. Edit: its 2024 and I still look forward to listening to Crime Junkie every week! Ashley & Britney are exceptional people & it’s been incredible watching them grow/expand Audiochuck/Crime Junkie. They amount of good they have accomplished over the years is incredible & I will always support audio chuck & crime junkie!

More Britt! Britt rules!
“And I’m Britt!” We say it along with her every episode. She rules, man! Ashley is great too, don’t get me wrong, but Britt is BRITT! More BRITT, man! Britt rocks!

Stop saying you are nauseous
It means you make others sick. What you mean is that you are nauseated. Also the word is jewel-ree, not joolery.

CJ gets me through the work day!
You guys are awesome. I’ve been listening to CJ since the early days and still love it. ☺️ I just listened to “Missing From a Bus Stop”, and I’m so glad you guys took the time to cover Tabatha Tudors’ case. I’m from Nashville, and I was old enough to remember hearing about her case when she went missing. To this day, it still eats me up that we don’t know what happened to her. Not that y’all need it, but I’m also coming with a recommendation for a future story of a missing person/ homicide victim from TN… Holly Bobo. Along with her tragic death and disappearance, the story also encompasses a very possible wrong conviction and at the very least, negligence, from the TBI. Like Tabatha, I still often go down the rabbit hole and get wrapped up in Holly’s case. I wish we knew for certain what had happened to her. You guys do great work! Thank you for bringing light to all these victims and their stories. -Kate

Older episodes were much better
I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2019, it’s truly been the backbone to my roadtrips, drives home from college, and bonded topic between friends. I loved it so much, that the fan club was my next subscription. Over this past year, something has changed with the episodes and it wasn’t for the better. The stories seem to be dragged out or repetitive. I really dislike the integrating of other podcast these past few months. It’s confusing, and takes away from the original Crime Junkies culture. I hope Ashley and Britt bring back the style of the other episodes! But for new listeners the best episodes are 2019-2023. This year has been really lacking.

Netflix Sponsor
I am kinda shocked that you have an Ad for Netflix supporting the new show Monsters about the Menandez brothers. You company does a lot for victims and these brothers are victims also.

Average at best
CHECK OUT BRIT’S BROTHER’S INSTAGRAM PAGE. HE IS PRO MAGA. PRO GUN. WHY AM I LISTENING TO HER WHEN SHE DOESN’T ACKNOWLEDGE HER LATIN X HERITAGE. THOUGH SHE HAS ADOPTED THE “CAUCASIAN” RACE AMD CULTURE.

Britt…(and other podcast rec)
Ashley is a lovely host (5 stars for her at the bare minimum) but Britt is very annoying and her unneeded comments lead to a sidetracked conversation leading Ashley to easily get of the crime for a solid 5 minutes+. Please learn to not allow bias when talking about a serious comment. Also, Britt will say very offensive commentary almost directly to the victim. Easily a 0 star for Britt… Get a new co-host If you’re looking for a more balanced yet still interesting true crime podcast, I totally recommend Morbid! Both hosts are on task and fact based making episodes actually listenable :)

I’m addicted!!
If you like crime stories, this is a must! Ashley and Brit are the best investigative story tellers - their detail makes you feel like you’re right there at the scene of the crime. Keep it up, ladies!!

Great crime story telling
Great hosts and stories love how they get right to the story and details and how they tell the stories however the music in the background bothers me… not sure what it is

Mostly love the podcast
Except for the cohost. I’ve seen other reviews address this as well. Adds nothing to the podcast other than a ringing in my ear. But I do love pretty much everything else about it. The research. The attention it brings to cases, issues with policing in our communities, racial profiling, how biases can ruin an investigation, etc. We have a relative who’s murder has gone unsolved for over thirty years and appeared on Unsolved Mysteries. I’m hoping one day it gets covered. Ashley does a fabulous job. Thank you for all you do!

One of my favorite Podcasts
I was recommended crime junkie by one of my friends because I am a die hard true crime lover. I have started all the way from the very beginning and I have truly fallen in love. this podcast is truly amazing! #stillbinging

The Best!
This is MY FAVORITE true crime podcast! Love the way Ashley tells the story. Love this podcast whether I’m listening to the story for the first time, or listening to it to fall asleep! & also to Brit! Asking the questions we are asking outloud to the podcast😅 Thankyou both!

Best podcast
They get into the good details of murders and crime. Some of them have me on my feet. But in all I just can’t stop listening

Please stop doing cases unsolved mysteries have covered
This used to be one of my favorite podcasts. But anymore you only seem to rehash VERY played out cases. If you are referencing unsolved mysteries tv show, THEN ITS GOTTEN ITS 15 minutes! Give another case some air play! I’m not saying they don’t deserve attention too, but maybe do a few that haven’t gotten any press! You do this with minorities, which is great, but there are lots of unsolved caucasians murders that could use some attention too! And please PLEASE stop doing 50 year old cold cases, some even from other countries. Again, not saying they don’t matter, but the majority of your listeners can’t help with these already super publicized, or ancient cold cases, some not even local to our country.

Excellent 👍🫶
I started listening to Crime Junkie back in 2021. I have listened to other true crime shows but it is the compelling way how Ashley and Brit delivers its story that separates all the other shows from Crime Junkie. One can tell it is their life’s passion—excellent work!

Addicted
I love this podcast, I listen in bursts and it’s worth it every time. I definitely appreciate the lighter moments between darker stories, because geez louise what a world we live in. But Ashley’s production value and storytelling are great, and I always come back for more. Would love a revisit of the crime junkie rules even in newer episodes, because i think they evolve over time but are still so so important to remember. Love the vignette episodes too because they give light to stories that clearly don’t have enough investigation or info about them out there.

Hi awesome people
You guys share people’s stories of their life/death and you can see the other side of people’s lives and I want to be a lawyer because the way you guys make me want to help people buy doing what is true.

Used To Be Good
I gotta hand it to Ashley, by having Madison on with this last episode, it made me wish Britt was back! I absolutely could not get through this latest episode due to the awful vocal fry of newcomer Mads.

Besties!!
I literally feel like Ashley and Brit are my besties I’m so happy to be in this community I really feel apart of something greater than myself and I can listen to this podcast all day everyday and never get tired of it!
