OMG I have listened to all of the episodes so far but the Whoopings episode was hilarious especially! When sis was describing what style of whoopings she likes I was dying laughing. Thank you ladies for providing some grown woman perspective in a funny sista girl way!♥️✨🖤

These ladies offer much needed insight and social commentary that’s both hilarious and informative. I’ve been looking for a podcast that I could relate to as a black mom in America and this podcast is right on!

All Points of Views Explored
I love Jill & Crew because the conversations are so relevant to the Black woman. Each one of the ladies come with their point of view and it is honored and explored without judgment. It opens me up to different perspectives or an alternative way of pursuing an encounter or a situation. Thanks Jill and ladies for bringing the pain and laughter to us on this platform.

Very insightful & enlightening
From the very first episode I have fallen in love with the three sista friends on this podcast. I look forward to a new one every day! Being that I am in a pro dominantly white area and sheltered it’s hard for me to understand my people and our culture without doing my own research so this podcast is amazing to help be enlightened and aware and even desire to want to know more. Thank you lovely ladies for allowing us into your every day conversations!

I would love to comment because I have 3 children. I see each of my children and myself in the this particular podcast. My oldest be like WHEN??? The oldest is 27 girl, middle 17 girl, and last is 15 (boy).

In 2016 my husband shot me 9 times on my parents front porch, all cause I was taking a que from you to live in my greatness and your music walked me through walking again! Learning from every sellable. I wanted to walk again cause you said “Let’s take a long walk” I welcomed the sun again to live my life like it’s golden. You’ve saved me Queen, thank you. I’d love to share my whole soul and story with you.

Great Conversations
I’ve always been of the belief that Jill Scott has the perfect voice for radio or podcasts. Her voice is everything poetic. So when I heard this show was created, I jumped all over it, and have been an active listener since ep 1. I love all of the ladies, and everyone’s perspectives. It’s a beautiful squad of lovely ladies. Everyone brings a little something to the table. Keep up the great work ladies!

Still Black. Very Black. And we don’t eat babies.
Speaking to this episode specifically, Black secular folk exist. We’re here. Secular. Atheist. Anti-theist. Lots of us. I find it disheartening that it’s almost 2021 and as much as we are constantly saying that Black folk are “not a monolith” the tone of this episode leans in that direction. Love the podcast. Just saying. If you’re thinking of guests who can speak on the topic (and Black nonbelievers) I would recommend Sikivu Hutchinson and Mandisa Thomas. Peace and blessings.

Sexual Assault
I have been an advocate for 25+ years, a SANE for 3+ years, and I’m constantly longing for those who have a platform to speak about this topic. Statistics say 1:4 women have had this experience; I always say double it because many events are unreported. Thank you for making that apparent in the show. Also thanks for mentioning that the key is for a HEALING program for the trauma. That is what my organization does: promote healing of the trauma. And I feel so grateful for this candid conversation that many of us are not having. Brilliant episode and I plan to listen to the rest!!!
