Dave's School of Podcasting is fantastic for little tidbits of info about getting your podcast to improve all the time. It's the first of the 'podcasting help' podcasts that I download and Dave's conversational style makes it easy to listen to.

When I first started exploring podcasting, I subscribed to almost all of the podcasts on podcasting. The School of Podcasting is now the only one I still listen to on a regular basis. True to the show's description, it's quick, to the point, without fluff, and stays on target. I'll add that Dave Jackson's voice and personality were made for podcasting. He's never over the top but he doesn't just read the news either. His genuine love of podcasting and his desire to help others comes through loud and clear. When he includes guest interviews, he shines the spotlight on them instead of using it as yet another platform to talk about himself (unlike another well-known podcaster). Through Dave's gentle and persistent lessons, I've gained the courage to start my own podcast.

Dave is clearly dedicated to podcasting, and to helping others learn the process of podcasting. He knows the technical side of things well, and yet his episodes have a style that lets you see his personality sometimes too. This is the kind of guy you don't just learn from, but you also would probably want to hang out with. This podcast is what inspired me to do my own.

This is a great podcast and Dave does a super job at giving practical information that will help you as start your podcast. Thanks and keep up the good work!

It's not often that the non-podcasting wife (aka Studio B producer) thoroughly enjoys a podcast I'm listening to, but this one is an exception. The combination of educational information and the personal style makes it work. Keep it up!

Dave Jackson hits another home run with his podcast on podcasting. Great voice, great content, no wasted time. Dave's style of immediately getting to the point makes for efficient listening and no exasperation with an unfocused, rambling host that causes your eyes to glaze over because they are slow or tedious about getting to their topic. Dave is a professional and podcasts like one. Gee, I guess that makes him a professional podcaster. Good, timely content and brief! Never too techy or long-winded. Dave makes his point and signs off. That's what we all need in a how-to podcast. Thanks for the great work Dave!

Intelligent on his podcasting and honest about his life and refections. We need more Daves in this world! Dave does not take prisoners, and his honesty is refreshing. Keep on my friend.

Hi Dave Your show is great I get so much from it. You put things into perspective for me especially the episode with the 20 odd steps it takes a considerable time commitment and I have felt the pain but its fun!

I've listened to this podcast for years and it never disappoints. Dave Jackson always gets right to the point, and delivers his podcast like I'm sitting right next to him. Best of all he doesn't turn his podcast into a giant commerical. He does a little pitch at the end, but its painless. Keep up the good work Dave! I have listened to 99% of the SOP episodes and have loved every one.

I have been listening to the School of Podcasting close to two years now. It is my favorite podcast (No, I am not related to Dave Jackson). I enjoy listening to it for a number of reasons; 1.) The production quality is very high. 2.) Dave is very passionate about the subject and 3.) The show is very interesting and I have and continue to learn a lot. The podcast is a one man show but don't let that fool you. The time goes quickly because you are lost in the conversation on the how to on podcasting. It's the real deal here. I listen to other how to podcast but I tune out after a few episodes. If you want to learn the best way to start, or improve your podcast this is your show. My hats off to the School of Podcasting. A great show because of great content and a great person who wishes to share his great love of podcasting with the world.
