Fun and informative

I really enjoy this because it has something for true fans and those who might not be as familiar with the Trek Universe. It is respectful with a good dose of humor, and helps that one of the commentators is a die hard Lost fan.

I <3 you guys!!!

I appreciate the POV of Star Trek fans that are open to new things. There is such a thing as being a fan and allowing the object of our affections grow and change as well as being able to be critical at times.

New listener, instant fan.

I’m a new listener but a long time Star Trek fan. I don’t have any Trekie friends that i can nerd-out with over Discovery, but this podcast makes me feel like i do. I often find myself verbally responding to something said, only to have another person on the show respond in exactly the same way. Also, it seems like a lot of people on podcasts hate on Discovery because it’s not what they think ST should be. It’s good to listen to a podcast where they get nitpicky, but because they love it and want it to succeed. Keep up the good work. Side note: on one of the recent shows, i heard someone say “Handsome Mount” and “I’d ‘mount’ him.” (I 100% agree) Are one or more of you gay? Because as a gay man myself, it would be great to have my new favorite podcast hosted by some “family” as well.

Fantastic and fun

It is an absolute joy to listen to this podcast every Friday morning! I always look forward to the thoughtful insights and fun banter. This is a group of people who feel genuine and fun, and the podcast is a fantastic and easy listen for any trek fan.

Thank you! Finally!

I've been listening to some pretty poor STD pods and gave this one a chance today. It was like being able to breathe after getting stuck under water. Very thoughtful and intelligent discussion on what is looking like a pretty complex character show. I need the analysis for my analytically driven soul. Deeply enjoyed the various observations even though I don't always see it the same way. This is great. I also love the idea of having on a person who's never watched Trek. What a great idea. Kudos. And thanks.

Intelligent Trek

It’s nice to find a Star Trek podcast with thoughtful, smart discussion on Discovery and the Star Trek universe. These are people I would love to hang out with, and with this podcast it feels like I am!

Learning a lot

I've got to admit that I hadn't watched a Star Trek tv series until now so I have a lot to learn. I think this podcast is doing a great job of catering to the long time fans and the newbies. It's fun and informative.

Awesome Star Trek Podcast!!!

Enjoyed listening to this crew. There's a wonderful range of Trek knowledge. I've watched each Star Trek iteration at some point or another except Enterprise (couldn't get into it or beyond the theme song...)and I look forward to seeing exactly what Discovery has to offer. This podcast crew is very insightful and just fun so definitely add them to your rotation for Discovery coverage.

Great set of hosts

I'm not a huge Star Trek fan, but I found this podcast through one of the hosts, Grant. He and his friends are hilarious and have a wealth of knowledge. Even as a casual Trekkie I enjoyed this first episode and hope the rest are just as good.

Ready for Discovery

I'm looking forward to watching the Discovery series more so now than before. The chance to hear the group break it down and possibly work out how much it is and isn't like Star Trek provides a good listening opportunity. Plus their varied levels of experience with the franchise will give new and different insights. Love the Borgs and DS9.

Boldly going where no podcast has gone before

I am a huge fan of the Mr. Robot podcast that these guys do and it looks like they'll be bringing the same insight and wit to Star Trek Discovery. Of course right now it's all just guesses and first impressions but it will be fun following the series with these guys.

I'm Excited

I am so pumped for Star Trek Discover to come on, this podcast is gonna be my home for the first season. The best part of Trek is breaking down the epsodes and talking about it after the fact. I couldent be more excited for this season and this new Podcast.
