I started periodically listening to “The Playbook” after David Meltzer was so gracious with his time, appearing as a guest on the podcast I co-host with a friend of mine. David, through trials and tribulations, has figured out an invaluable personal system that he regularly shares with his listeners and discusses with his guests. The interviews, even if it is a topic that doesn’t necessarily interest you personally or includes a specific guest who doesn’t directly pertain to your life, are worth listening to just because of the extra commentary provided.
Many people claim to be “spiritual,” but have difficulty putting that inner knowledge and wisdom into practice, and making it relatable on a wider “bigger picture” scale. Meltzer is as well-versed as they come regarding bettering yourself individually and using those lessons and strategies to community build. The practical insight can be applied to building yourself up, putting a thought or idea into practice, starting your own business, mending relationships with your spouse, family, friends, etc. Meltzer covers a variety of industries and finds a way to keep any topic intriguing to a casual person.
After meeting him in person, he is the real deal. Very happy I had the opportunity to meet the man behind the content, and I recommend him to anybody who is just starting, having difficulty, or is continuing on his/her personal journey. It feels like stumbling on him brings people closer to alignment, which is ultimately what we’re all aspiring for ourselves.
