I wish I would have met her while I lived in Houston, but now am grateful to have her in my ears wherever I go. I have discovered many wonderful books and authors through Cindy and her community.

Bookish Greatness
Thoughts From a Page has quickly become one of my very favorite podcasts! Cindy interviews a variety of authors and people in the book industry. I have found so many wonderful books through her podcast. The interviews are always thoughtful and engaging. I look forward to Thoughts From a Page every single week!

I always look forward to new episodes on this podcast! Cindy asks insightful questions and the conversations flow so well with the authors. I also really enjoy the variety of authors - both in genre and background - on this podcast.
Cindy's book selections and author interviews have also steadily grown my list of books to read. My most recent favorite episode was the one with Riley Sager. I'm really looking forward to reading his newest one as well the others discussed on other episodes.

Cindy’s podcast is one of my favorite literary podcasts! She has so many great author guests of books that I’m reading or interested in hearing more about. The interviews are all so timely and filled with interesting questions (I love hearing about the covers!). Some of my favorite episodes are the ones with Elizabeth from Fabled bookstore. They preview books for the upcoming season or talk about their favorites—my TBR gets filled up especially after these episodes!

Wonderful, engaging interviews
I enjoy Cindy’s interviews so much, even if I haven’t read the book, I find the way Cindy asks questions and the authors she talks to so interesting. I almost always end up adding the book to my tbr!

Great content, great voice!
I recently found Thoughts from a Page podcast with Cindy Burnett. She is fantastic with a wonderful voice and terrific content. Felt back about just finding it until I realized I have ALL these previous episodes to listen to now. Thank you Cindy for providing relevent and interesting guests and topics. 5 STARS!

This is a terrific podcast: a warm, insightful interviewer with interesting guests.
Cindy keeps the discussion going with in-depth questions that really dig deep into some of the whys and hows of books/publishing, etc.
A must for anyone who enjoys books, is interested in learning more about the publishing business, or just appreciates thoughtful discussions.
I am always looking forward to the next episode!

Excellent Podcast!
Cindy’s talent shines through in her very interesting conversations with different authors. She has a unique ability to draw out the true meaning of each story, the history of how and why it was crafted, and why a reader would want to read it. A must-listen for fellow readers!

Great, Interesting podcasts!
So glad I have discovered these podcasts! The host’s engaging nature makes it easy for the authors to open up, making it a very interesting and entertaining podcast. It is so fun reading the book knowing the background information that went into each story. Very enjoyable, relaxing, entertaining podcasts -highly recommend them!

I love listening to Cindy interview various and interesting authors. She makes it so fun and easy. She engages the author and asks great questions. It’s fun to hear the author’s perspective which makes the book even more interesting. I will definitely keep listening to her Podcast.

So Good!
I love listening to Cindy’s podcasts. She seems to ask all the questions that I would like to ask if I were able to interview the authors. The questions about how the titles and cover art are created and eventually decided on are especially interesting!

Love it!
A very informative and entertaining podcast. Cindy has an ease and natural way of conducting interviews that makes you feel like you’re listening to two old friends. Her love of book and authors shines through (no pun intended!). I loved learning about Susie Orman Schnall’s latest We Came Here to Shine and found the backstory about her process in writing the novel and how the cover came to be enthralling. I’m looking forward to reading it and can’t wait for the next podcast!
