Perfect Podcast!
I'm a huge podcast fan, and "Bone Valley" is one of the best. The amount of research and dedication that went into creating this is evident from the get-go. The interviews with Leo and Jeremy are truly outstanding and provide an in-depth, personal perspective that makes the story even more gripping. I binged all 9 episodes during a long road trip and was completely hooked. If you're into true crime podcasts, do yourself a favor and give "Bone Valley" a listen - you won't be disappointed Hopefully this podcast and the attention it's garnering and all the public awareness will help Leo when he’s up for parole.

WOW this podcast
What a heartbreaking story, told so well and with such compassion by Gilbert and Kelsey. Couldn’t stop listening. Thank you 🙏🏻

More than 5 stars and now what can be done?
This story changed me. Thank you for Telling this story…. What can we do? WHAT CAN WE DO?

Great podcast, but what’s up with the ads?
It’s a little jarring to hear such a great podcast about the failures of the legal system, coupled with the host’s experience writing about the racial injustice of wrongful convictions in Florida, interspersed with ads for nonprofits seeking to undo the damage of the war on drugs (a Reagan administration failure), AND THEN hearing doomsday ads about investing in gold and silver “as recommended by Sean Hannity” with a Reagan coin as a thank you gift. This wasn’t enough to make me stop listening, but it was enough to make me question what this guy is actually about.

💔
It’s heartbreaking to know innocent men and women are in prison and with such negligence and pure disregard for human life by the men and women who are sworn in to protect and serve. The land of the free…

I am beyond words…
I have never had anything tear at my soul the way this story has. It’s beautiful produced, incredibly written, and heartbreakingly honest. My blood boils for the reckless incompetence of the judicial system and the lives they have destroyed. This is one of the best true crime podcasts ever done! #FreeLeo

great podcast
it’s so clear that leo is innocent. i hope this podcast brings justice.

Free Leo!
This podcast tells the story of a wrongfully convicted man that is still incarcerated. It’s absolutely frustrating that they have a confession by Jeremy Scott - but yet the State of Florida does nothing about it. It’s heartbreaking for all of the family members, but especially Leo, who has been locked in a prison for a crime he did NOT commit. This podcast format is easy to listen to and Kelsey & Gilbert do a fantastic job!

Only on episode 8 but
I’m in a TOTAL RAGE. This better have a happy ending otherwise I might ⚰️🪦💀☠️🔪🔪🔪🩸🩸🩸🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Wow
Great job! Really really powerful and well done podcast. Up there with the great ones. Makes me want to drive down to Florida and help Leo! Ashamed of the legal system down there as well.

I’ve been waiting for a true crime story this good
True crime listeners were so lucky to have podcasts like Bear Brook, Serial, To live and die in LA and Up and Vanished all around the same time. For the past couple years, I’ve been searching for another story which captures my interest in the same way. Bone Valley is exactly what I’ve been waiting for. A true crime(s) story which evolves and is solved by the reporters while you are listening. This is well worth the listen! Well done!

Amazing work!
Love this one so much! Excellent story & excellent reporting and storytelling! Definitely following this story and praying for Leo’s release! Powerful story!

An outstanding podcast. Well researched and well presented. Sadly, it’s a shame Leo’s story got to this point. Such injustice and a sad commentary on the state of the DA office in that county. I am praying for his continued strength and another appeal. Everyone needs to sign the petition.

Leo Speaks
The recent bonus episode of where Leo talks about his convictions as a person really resonated with me. He is standing on his morals and will not flinch as he is person who believes in the “Principle of the Matter”. He stands by his innocence and will not take the easy way out. I just hope that the justice system in Florida realizes the same and that he is innocent by standing up for his principles.

A must listen
Incredibly sad story with superb journalism. I can’t believe how many podcasters have solved these mistrials of justice. Thoroughly researched and presented. Very reminiscent of the second season of In the Dark (a must listen if you haven’t yet). I can only hope eventually he gets the same chance at freedom as Curtis Flowers did. I felt sincere empathy for all involved. Bravo.

Amazing!
This is the best true crime podcast I have listened to yet. But it’s more than that. This needs to be heard by everyone. There is an innocent man who’s life has been turned upside down, and needs to be corrected. This case needs to be looked into further by law enforcement, and not ignored! Also, we need justice for Michelle and Joseph.

Top Notch
Un-freaking-believable! By far the best podcast I’ve heard. Gilbert should win a podcast Emmy. But not just that, the compassion and determination he shows in uncovering this mind boggling story throughout all 13 episodes grabbed my attention instantly and did not let go. He straight put me right there inside that story as if I was physically part of it. It’s going to be hard to move on to the next story. I’m looking forward to listening to other projects that Gilbert will be a part of. Thank you!

Excellent reporting
It’s obvious so much work and investigation went into this story. The prosecutorial misconduct is very apparent at every turn. If everyone in criminal justice just did their jobs instead of worrying about their egos or making it a game of not wanting to be proven wrong, there would be way less innocent people serving time. Let’s hope we as a community do better and when the facts don’t line up, release the person doing time so they can go back to some semblance of normal life.

Probably the best series I’ve heard.
Such a heartbreaking series of events told in such a way that I find it impossible to not at least try to sympathize with essentially every person involved. Very impressed and thankful for the extensive amount of effort and humility put into this. Well done.

So Sad
Thank you for bringing the story to Light,. I hope he has a favorable ending.

Unbelievable!
Warning: if you listen to this podcast, it doesn’t finish wrapped up in a pretty bow with a nice happy ending. You’ll be left with equal parts anger and heartbreak. How is it even possible this man can still be in prison? Every moment Leo Schofield spends behind bars is a crime, and an absolute embarrassment to our so-called “justice” system. Heading over to sign the Change.Org petition.

Gripping investigative journalism
Riveting pod. Storytelling at its finest & it’s excellent investigative journalism as well. The scourge of continual injustice is a disgrace that defies everything we are (supposed to) stand for when we take the oath in court. I hope Leo gets a ginormous settlement out of one of the most clearly backwards states these days on so many levels. And who knows who else these lying cheating egomaniacs have cheated out of their lives.

Thank you
Thank you so much to everyone involved for telling this horrific but so incredibly important story of so many lives involved. Thank you.

Emotions.
I felt so many emotions listening to this Podcast. I have never felt this way about a Podcast and I am a avid listener. I felt sorry for Jeremy and mad at him at the same time. My heart just breaks for Leo. I have signed the change.org document. Please keep fighting for him. What you guys are doing is so amazing. You are making a difference. ♥️

I’m speechless
First time leaving a review. Best podcast I’ve ever heard. Incredible reporting and infuriating story. Great work fighting for justice.

Heartbreaking
Meticulously researched and produced, a heartbreaking story about a man falsely imprisoned for decades because of terrible police work and a broken justice system. A must listen…and sign the change.org petition to try and get his case reviewed!!

Captivating
Listened to this in less than 24 hours bc I needed to know what happened. The story is almost unbelievable in some ways. Infuriating in others. Sad in most all ways. Captivating and pulled together so well. Can’t wait for another season!!!

Speechless
I’ve been listening to podcasts for years. This is the first that has left me completely speechless. I frequently travel to Florida for vacation, but I’m considering NEVER going there again. If I’m ever going to be arrested on garbage charges I’ll take my chances in Mexico. They seem to be slightly less corrupt.

Next to none!
Someone else said this and it’s a big statement but honestly it’s the truth.. This is the first pod since Serial that I have felt so intensely consumed by. It’s absolutely incredible and I’m so proud of all of the players in this story for their tireless work to find justice for Leo and Michelle. Great work y’all!

Loved it ! Not surprised!
Love the story. Thanks so much. However, I am not at all surprised that this countries justice system and bent officials, locked up an innocent person. I’ve heard many stories just like this one. It’s a major problem is the US, our justice officals will do anything to clear a case and will never admit when they are wrong.
